When the Bible proves it all then Science can’t

Nowadays people wonder how the earth came to life. Some refer to science and the others refer to divine creation. Even though both have a basis, still they don't agree with each other. I remember someone who studied the bible and said, “If you put ten theologians inside a room they will go out fighting while if you put children in the same room, they will go out happy because they believed”. Pretty true. As Christian, we were taught that God made it all from the beginning as what the Holy Bible wrote. But one thing we still confuse is, why does this all-powerful and all-knowing creator create a desolated masterpiece of his? Let us read Genesis 1:1-2...

Genesis 1:1-2

In the beginning

God created heaven and the earth. 2

And the earth was without form,

and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God

moved upon the face of the waters.(KJV)

Notice these verses, if God created the heavens and the earth from the start, then why is it without form and void? We all know that God is all-knowing and all-powerful so he can be a master planner, genius architect, and wise engineer. So why did this creator make such useless earth to be inhabited with?

The key here is the word “was” in verse 2. In the original Hebrew Bible, the word was is hāyəṯāh (הָיְתָ֥ה) meaning, be or become, or come to pass. After God created heaven and the earth in Genesis 1:1, it became formless and void in verse 2. Not that God made the earth useless from the beginning but it was destroyed in verse 2, so it became formless and void. So what’s the reason behind it? Who made the earth ruin?

The answer is found in Jeremiah 4:23:28

23 I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.

24 I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.

25 I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled.

26 I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the Lord, and by his fierce anger.

27 For thus hath the Lord said, The whole land shall be desolate; yet will I not make a full end.

28 For this shall the earth mourn, and the heavens above be black; because I have spoken it, I have purposed it, and will not repent, neither will I turn back from it.

The reason why the earth is ruined is because of the fierce anger of The Lord. Notice on verse 23 of Jeremiah 4, it is parallel to Genesis 1:2 but a lot of additional details compared to Genesis’ verses. That’s why we are all confused about why the earth is suddenly ruined after its creation.

God turns angry at Satan for what he did on those days he governed the earth. He was jealous of God and invaded the heavens but was cast out of heaven. Because of pride, he rebelled against the highest which written in Isaiah 14:13

For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

According to Ezekiel 28:15 by his perfection, iniquity was found on him.

Ezekiel 28:15

Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

When God turns angry to Satan, he let the earth be destroyed by himself but without full end according to Jeremiah 4:27

For thus hath the Lord said, the whole land shall be desolate; yet will I not make a full end.

He let the mountains tremble and all the hills moved as written in verse 24. I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly which connects Job 9:5-6...

5 Which removeth the mountains, and they know not: which overturneth them in his anger.

6 Which shaketh the earth out of her place, and the pillars thereof tremble.

Today, a great discovery of the oldest rock from earth was found on the moon. Led by Research Scientist Jeremy Bellucci and Professor Alexander Nemchin, team members working at the Swedish Museum of Natural History and Curtin University in Australia rose to the challenge. The result of their investigation is a 2-gram fragment of rock composed of quartz, feldspar, and zircon, all commonly found on Earth and highly unusual on the Moon. Chemical analysis of the rock fragment shows it crystallized in a terrestrial-like oxidized system, at terrestrial temperatures, rather than in the reducing and higher temperature conditions characteristic of the Moon.

Is it a coincidence? It figures out like the debris of the shaken earth went to the moon and is now found only at this time.

Even if science confirms its studies, they never know that the Bible already had the answer.

Furthermore, God made the heaven above be black like no light as we read verses 23 and 28 which connect also to Job 9: 7.

Which commandeth the sun, and it riseth not; and sealeth up the stars.

That’s why the darkness was upon the face of the deep where the spirit of God moved on it for the preparation of earth’s restoration. But it took millions to billions of years since it was dark for all the stars and sun are forbidden to shine until it was restored in six days which is equivalent to six thousand years in today's era. Speaking of the face of the deep, the earth before was in the great flood and frozen. It sounds like an ice age period. Remember the discovery of a frozen Mammoth (giant elephant probably 14 feet tall) found in Siberia? Maybe he was caught by ice while having lunch. They walked on earth for thousands and even millions of years and were found extinct. Life on earth was destroyed for God sealed the heaven of its light.

Conclusion

Long ago the earth was destroyed by the fierce anger of the Lord over Satan and wiped out all the inhabitants on it as Isaiah writes in his book.

Isaiah 24.1

Behold, the Lord maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof.

Therefore, the Genesis 1:1 event is different from Genesis 1:2 but the same happened millions to billions of years ago. When God created heaven and the earth it was perfect as it’s written in...

Deuteronomy 32:4

He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.

Psalm 18:30

As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.

Ecclesiastes 3:11

He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.

Isaiah 45:18

For thus saith the Lord that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the Lord; and there is none else.

The difference between the two given verses is, in Genesis 1:1 was perfection while Genesis 1:2 was destruction. Then God himself restored it in Genesis 1:3 and throughout the whole chapter. After God restored the earth, he gave all the dominion to Adam to govern the earth like Satan did before his rebellion took place. Unfortunately, Adam failed but the second Adam in the person of Jesus fought for it to regain what Satan stole from Adam and won against him through his death on the cross. He went to the underworld after his death and proclaimed his victory against Satan. He defeated Satan without using the power of the Holy Spirit but by his perfection as a mere man. All authority in heaven and the earth was given to him and that authority was given to the church today. Luckily, the church has the power over Satan and his angels. That's why the apostle Paul wrote on Ephesians 6 that we don't fight against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
