Does the Iron Dome really save Israel?

As a ceasefire was agreed by both parties (Israel-Hamas), people around the world who support Israel were astonished and surprised about how the Jewish government managed to protect their country from their recent enemy the Hamas. The majority of all social media platforms express their thoughts about Israel's secret weapon that made Hamas defeated. Although there are some minor casualties, it is considered as another victory of David over Goliath. Some religious people also said that because they were God's chosen people, they were protected by Him.

On the other hand, Palestinians call for justice for the casualties of their civilians. They are pushing worldwide sympathy over their dead fellow Palestinians as victims of this war. These are their ways to catch the attention of the world as they were the first who waged war against Israel but were defeated over time and time again. They never learned.

Back to the topic, is the Iron Dome who saves Israel? Maybe yes, that's the one factor. But as far as I know, It is the covenant that saves Israel from its enemy. The Abrahamic covenant involves God and Abraham. As we read in Genesis, God promised Abraham saying, “On the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed has I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates: Genesis 15:18. Only his legitimate seeds can acquire that promise which unto his son Isaac and grandson Jacob and sooner fulfilled by King David who conquers the whole land as what God promises to Abraham. That land today is where the nation Israel settled. As what God says in Genesis 12:2-3 "and I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: "I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse, and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you. When somebody curses the Israelites, the Abrahamic covenant will take place.. Look at what happened to Egypt at Moses time, the Philistine, the Babylonians, the Greeks, the Romans, the Nazis, and the Arab union at 6-day war and today's modern Palestine, all of them are not successful in conquering the land of Israel instead some of them are all wiped out. That's the greatest miracle that has ever happened in the history of the modern era. Iron Dome is just a bonus gift to them but the real thing who saves the Jewish nation is the COVENANT.

In addition to that, the word Israel means, cannot be destroyed. As Jacob wrestled a man in Genesis 32:28, Jacob cannot be defeated even if his thigh was out of joint for what that man did unto him. Still, he fought against him until that man surrendered and later on blessed him and gave him a new name. let us read Genesis 32:28 He said, ``Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed."Even today, whatever sufferings of Israel got from their enemies, even they are almost wipeout in the hands of the Nazis symbolically out joint thigh, still, they are the super-powerful country in the world today when it comes to technology, economics, food production, water supply, medicines, universities, inventions, etc. Name it, they have it. This is the only smallest country in the world that owns and invented the anti-missile attack which ìs called the Iron Dome. This is the covenant of God he promised to Abraham and his legitimate seeds. To prosper them and not to harm them as what the bible said in Jeremiah, "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Jeremiah 29:11 NIV

Truly the word of God comes to life as if we believe in it.

Conclusion:

Israel was saved by the covenant of God through Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. They went to many wars and battles without the Iron Dome but still, they survive and preserved their Jewish identity. even if they were scattered abroad but had come back to build the house of Jacob.
